Most interesting is the equipment this car offered as standard. As befitting a car called “exclusive,” it does have the exclusive leather interior treatment, which features leather dash, door cards, transmission tunnel, a genuine suede (not Alcantara as in later cars) headliner, and a leather/wood steering wheel and shift knob. The stitching in the seats is also different from standard models, mirroring that of the Coupes. For these models, DAIMLER specified Designo Purple over black for the seats, with Chestnut wood trim. Further, each car was specified with xenon HID headlights, PARKTRONIC, mobile phone (which can have a faux wood trim to match the rest on it), front and rear heated seats, electrically adjustable rear seatback, the BOSE-branded 11-speaker sound system and their first first on-board navigation system, branded as “Auto Pilot System.” Each lacked model-specific badging
